Flashworks Photobooth congratulates the students of the Transition Year Program for the successful completion of their studies.

On the 10th floor of the South Education building in the Education Lounge, a group of about 40 students congregated together for an intimate gathering in celebration of the completion of their first year of university studies. Right from the get-go, the students started pulling their fellow classmates into the photobooth and filling the room with laughs and giggles.

Once everyone had arrived a prayer was said giving thanks for the lessons of the past year and asking for a continuance of blessings to come. A pizza lunch with veggie platter and colourful cupcakes followed and was heartily partaken in. Each student was then called up to received a certificate of completion to the thunderous applause of their peers. Afterwards, celebratory ice cream cake was offered to all and adding to the fun were three prize draws each for an iTunes gift card, each.

From that point onward, the Flashworks Photobooth was consistently busy. With the last hour of the rental, the solid background of the booth was removed so that larger group shots could be taken. For one of the sessions, the entire group posed for a set of photos. With some 30 people in the shot, it’s was our largest group photo, yet.

Thanks to the event organizers for putting together this special event. I know that all in attendance appreciated it!
