RBC Family Holiday Party

A snowy Saturday December morning at the Princess Theatre was the setting for the RBC Family Holiday party where parents and children eagerly can to the historic little theatre on Whyte Avenue. Built in 1914 by John W. McKernan, the Princess has two full featured theatre rooms, equipped with plush red seats, oil painted tableaus of nymphs and ships on top of the large theatre screen, and an overall feeling of comfort and classic style.

Santa was there to greet each family coming through the door and ready to take a photo with each of them. Lined up in front of a colourfully themed green screen, children of all ages from babies a few months old to teenagers in their early teens, had their picture taken with Santa. The parents also enjoyed a photo with the jolly red gentleman. After the photo session with Santa, each child got a small present full of little treats. On top of that, everybody enjoyed a small bag of popcorn and drink as a free treat for the movie!

There was one more thing kids could do before the movie started too! At the front of the theatre were pre-made Gingerbread men, and anybody who wanted could decorate them with an assortment of candies and chocolates. After all this it was off to the movie: A showing of the 2000 classic How the Grinch stole Christmas .

Thank you to RBC for inviting Flashworks  Photobooth to their fun event!  We wish all in attendance all the best!
