The Big Bounce Deadmau5 Unhooked show at Empire Ballroom was fabulous!

The doors opened at 7pm and people quickly made their way in out of the cold. Most started the night with a stop at the Flashworks Photobooth complete with green-screen right before entering the main area of the club. Guests had a lot of fun posing and making faces with their friends while the booth super-imposed colourful digital effects behind them. Those waiting in line also enjoyed watching the action in front of the green-screen our external monitor.

The show kicked off with Mord Fustang as the crowd began to pile in. The Empire Ballroom’s combination of Egyptian and modern décor and styling provided a venue almost as unique as the show. Such an intimate venue for such a huge line up was unprecedented, but it made the atmosphere just that much more electric. Chris Lake followed, who in his own right could have filled the house. Last, but certainly not least was the headliner for the night, Deadmau5.  The crowd started getting wild as even more fans made their way into the club. There was a huge variety of folks that came out to this show, from the uninitiated to the House/Electro scene, to the diehard fans in furry leg warmers.

The DJs were set up at the front of the club with a screen almost as wide as the room itself. The lighting accompanying the performers was night were spectacular. There were enough flashing and spinning lights for a stadium show let alone a club like Empire Ballroom.

The audience, as well as Flashworks Photobooth, had a great time at The Big Bounce. Flashworks would like to thank The Bounce for having us; it was a blast!

You can view all the fun in the public online gallery or up at the Bounce’s Facebook page.
