Although the weather didn’t quite cooperate earlier in the day, spirits could not be dampened at this gala event where young and old alike gathered to celebrate this incredible milestone.

Archbishop Richard Smith joined Fr Andrzej to celebrate an outdoor Mass, which was followed by a catered meal for 600 guests in a massive outdoor tent on St. Albert Mission Hill. As part of the festivities, the children enjoyed the jumpy things and balloon artists that were on the grounds. Within the tent, guests were seated at rows upon rows of long tables where the master of ceremonies called out skill testing questions about the Parish’s history to determine which tables would go up to eat. After a very tasty meal (and perhaps a few glasses of wine), people started to make their way into the Church hall where the photobooth was set-up. Everyone had a blast dressing up in the props and posing for a keepsake of the special day.

Congratulations to the St. Albert Catholic Parish on such an auspicious occasion and thank-you so much allowing us to be a part of history.
