Flashworks Photobooth would like you to take part in a journey: A journey back to the 80s!
We were honoured to be invited to The Royal Glenora Club’s 50th Anniversary, where our booth was in a room full of 1980s nostalgia. Top 80s music filled the room and added to the ambiance where “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” was playing on the wall, bartenders dressed for the 80s, and flamingos decorated the room. There were ever two guests dressed up and imitating Michael Jackson and Madonna, two iconic greats of the 80s. Sunglasses were also provided for guests to relive the rocking past of the 80s, create new memories, and provided a souvenir for those who wished to take them home.
The other banquet rooms in the Glenora were uniquely themed, as well. Even the balcony was set-up with large tents inside of which was an Oriental theme with amazing ice sculpture vodka bars on each end. Other rooms were equally well-garbed with food and decorations tying everything together nicely while musicians and dancers showcased their talent throughout. And the catering company outdid itself preparing and displaying delicious dishes of coconut shrimp, gourmet sized burgers, rack of lamb, and many others which were popular and the talk of the night.
