Shelly & Justin

Flashworks Photobooth had a great time at Shelly and Justin’s reception and was honoured to be included in the festivities! Everything at Shelly and Justin’s reception seemed to match them perfectly; their decor was neat and refined, their program was light-hearted and fun, and their guests were extremely friendly and personable.

The decor at the Santa Maria Goretti Centre was pleasantly composed of a colour scheme of pink, black and white with a pattern of black damask. Upon entering the hall, guests were greeted by the guestbook table adorned with a long damask runner, pink gerber daisies and a white table skirt covered with thin black tulle through which white mini-lights shone. Three lovely ladies welcomed everyone and also cut the photobooth strips so that guests could add them to Shelly and Justin’s guestbook.

Within the banquet hall the colour theme continued with each round table being decorated with a black table cloth, a long damask patterned runner, and a centerpiece of a tall cylindrical glass vase with three large pink gerber daisies. Next to this vase were a small light pink and magenta tea light. Each place-setting had a caramel hersheys kiss with a Shelly and Justin sticker on the bottom.

The head table was decorated similarly to the guestbook table with mini-lights in the table skirting, but with many bunches of pink gerber daisies along the leading edge of the table. Behind, was a tall backdrop of black fabric with veil of white flowing from the middle top, down to each bottom corner and accented with a bow of pink at the apex.

The master of ceremonies did an excellent job of entertaining the everyone with jokes and funny introductions of the bridal party. He also gave instructions on how to get the bride and groom to kiss; guests would either correctly answer a trivia question or perform a kiss of their own for the young couple to emulate. A number of humorous  and heart-warming speeches followed a delightful table-service dinner. The official program wrapped up with the ever-popular shoe game which produced laughs from the audience as the bride and groom pondered the MC’s pointed questions. And, throughout the evening a slideshow played on a screen showcasing memories of Shelly and Justin’s childhood, as well as their relationship and excursions together.

Shelly and Justin, we’d like to wish you all of the very best as you begin this new chapter in your lives. We were delighted to entertain your guests and add to your special evening.
