Lindsay and Dan

Lindsay and Dan invited their family and friends to the Blatchford Field Hangar at Fort Edmonton Park to celebrate their wedding.

The spacious hangar, with its many windows was full of natural light. The large hangar doors opened onto the outdoor area where the wedding ceremony was held. All the tables were set with towering centrepieces and candles that provided much of the lighting as the night went on. The ivory and chocolate theme carried to the head table which was set up in front of an ivory colored backdrop that was accentuated by lights twinkling behind the flowing material.

As the procession entered the hall the Master of Ceremonies introduced the wedding party which included some of Dan and Lindsay’s loved ones. The MC told anecdotes about how each member of the wedding party knew the newlyweds. After some hearty laughs from the guests, the catering staff served a delicious buffet meal of roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, chicken, roast potatoes, perogies, salads and many other delightful dishes. After dinner the guests were treated to dessert and sweets from the candy bar.

Following dinner came toasts and speeches from all the significant people in the newlywed’s lives. A short slideshow in honor of Lindsay and Dan capped off the evenings program and delivered some more chuckles. As dusk turned to night the bride and groom had their first dance as husband and wife to David Gray’s This Year’s Love. Throughout the evening guests had the opportunity to mingle and dance, as well as take many photos at the photobooth. By far the favorite props of the night were the stick-on moustaches and wooden picture frame cut outs. All the guest including the youngest, who were barely tall enough to get into the picture, had a blast with Flashworks.

Thanks to Lindsay and Dan for having Flashworks Photobooth help you celebrate your special day. We wish you all the best in the long and happy future ahead.
