Susanna and Cliffton

Flashworks Photobooth had the good fortune of driving out to Elk Point to help celebrate Susanna and Cliffton’s wedding.

Just before the entrance to the main hall of the Allied Arts and Leisure Centre, was a guestbook table clad in white where guests could sign Susanne and Cliffton’s guestbook and deposit a card in a tall glass and metal box. Walking though the entrance via two white columns and drapery, the theme of royal blue, white and silver in the hall was immediately obvious. Most striking was the floor to ceiling balloon double arch in the center of hall. Four tall pillars of balloons twisted together were each topped with a single large round white balloon and served as the base for each leg of the arches. A single-file line of balloons then progressed from this base in a curve up to the ceiling.

You also couldn’t miss the two levels of head tables required to accommodate the 22 member bridal party. Consisting of the brothers, sisters, and close cousins of the bride and groom, one table was elevated above the other on a stage and was set against four columns with white mini lights behind tulle which was interspersed between them. The table cloths were white, with white vertical folds running along the front and royal blue satin gathered in bunches along the top length of the tables and creating graceful waves of fabric.

Each of the guest tables featured a white table cloth with a satin runner of royal blue down the middle. Upon the runner was a round, compressed hurricane lantern shaped vase filled with white rocks and a flickering faux candle. There were also a number of little silver bells tied with ribbons reading “Susanna and Cliffton May 19th, 2012,” on each table.

Following the dinner, the band “Country Fyre” played to entertain the guests. Later in the night when it came time for a blindfolded Cliffton to retrieve the garter belt, he was probably wondering what was so funny as he pulled it down the leg of a “fill in” bride, one of the groomsmen with his pant leg rolled all the way up.

And all through the reception, the Flashworks Photobooth was constantly in demand with young and old! From 7pm to 1am, there has hardly a moment when the booth wasn’t in use.

Flasworks Photobooth would like to congratulate Susanna and Cliffton on their wedding and wish them all bountiful blessings in their lives together. Thanks for inviting us for your momentous occasion.
