Nadia and Felipe wowed their guests with beautiful decor and engaging entertainment at the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald.

When guests first entered the foyer of the Empire Ballroom they came upon a table of photos of the couple together displayed in various different sized white frames, and some stamp pads for everyone to leave their fingerprint on a poster along with a message describing their “happily ever after”. In the middle of the room was a square table draped in dark silver and laden with several pictures of Nadia and Felipe as children. These photos encircled a large silver branched tree with chains of crystals and small white lilacs hanging down. Also descending from the branches were small glass bubbles holding tea light candles. In one corner of the room stood a small white wedding cake topped with a large icing flower, while tiny chocolate cupcakes and larger vanilla cupcakes topped with silver sugar beads filled the rest of the table. Before heading into the ballroom guest could grab a drink at the open bar, snap a few pictures in the booth, and mingle.

The decor within the Empire Ballroom matched the foyer with numerous tables’ centrepieces consisting of smaller silver branched trees with chains of white lilacs and crystal beads, as well as, the candles in glass bubbles. The remainder of the tables featured a tall vase with floating candles and three shorter vases holding a large beautiful white flower, all surrounded  by white roses. All of the tables had silver framed chairs with a white designed cushion. Each place setting showed had a itinerary and the guest’s name on a white folded card. For the kids, a colouring book and a package of markers was set out on their place setting to keep them entertained thought out the night. The long bridal table had tall glass vases holding a floating candle in each, and silver branches spread out in front.

Besides the visual splendor, the ears were also treated to a live jazz band and vocals when guests entered the ballroom, and played until the bridal party arrived. Once they made their entrance, Nadia and Felipe immediately welcomed and thanked all their guests for attending. Speeches interspersed the courses of dinner, and laughter rang out and tears formed when loved ones gave their heartwarming speeches that guided us through the couple’s lives.

Following a pause in the formalities, guests refilled their glasses and enjoyed a performance of Etta James’ “At Last” being sung by a friend of the couple’s. Also, a Spanish dancer accompanied by her husband on guitar, performed three dances, and the Cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company executed a captivating routine. The night remained upbeat and full of energy all night thanks to the great DJ. And when the guests need to refuel, a midnight snack of breakfast was served! Guests feasted on the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and more.

The Flashworks Photobooth was in use all night as guests enjoyed dressing up and taking pictures to immortalize this important event. They were also encouraged to paste one of their photo-strips into the guest book and sign it for the the couple.

Nadia and Felipe, Flashworks Photobooth had a great time at your wedding and would like to congratulate you on your special day. We wish you a happily ever after!
