Kimberly & Chad

Kimberly and Chad had a beautiful wedding surrounded by friends and family at the elegantly decorated Meridian Banquet & Conference Center.

As guests entered the Meridian Banquet they encountered a stylishly decorated foyer set apart from the rest of the hall by flowing white curtains. Before the curtains stood a guestbook table featuring an old-fashioned multi-pane golden window frame, each pane of which served as the seating arrangement per table. There was also a photo book of the couple into which guests could write their well wishes and a large iron wrought globe where they could deposit their envelopes before proceeding into the hall. Once inside, drinks could be enjoyed in a lounge area surrounding the bar complete with leather couches and warm fireplace.

Decorative lights shone through white curtains draped behind the two levels of head tables and were also wrapped around the pillars in the room. The centerpieces set upon brown tablecloths consisted of candles floating above orchids submerged amongst decorative stones below.

Following dinner, Kimberly and Chad’s family and friends gave a few heart warming speeches and shared some humourous stories about the bride and groom. Kimberly’s mother explained how at the bridal shower they played a game asking Kimberly questions about Chad, and for every one she got wrong she had to chew a piece of bubble gum. The game ended early because she couldn’t fit more than 16 pieces of hubba bubba into her mouth. But after playing the shoe game that this night, they proved to know each other very well and delighted the audience.

Before their first dance as husband and wife, Kimberly and Chad cut the top tier of their cake with four tiers of chocolate and vanilla mini cakes beneath for guests to savour. While the slideshow of fond memories played, everyone enjoyed desert. With a special twist on tradition, Kimberly requested that all the married ladies come up front and she gave the bouquet to the lady that’s been married the longest. The dance floor was well used all night as Dan from Baseline Event Services took requests and played a mix of great music that everybody enjoyed.

Thank-you to Kimberly and Chad for the honour of entertaining your guests on your special day. We’d like to wish you all of the very best in your lives together!
