Flashworks Photobooth is St. Albert’s favorite photo booth. Started up in August 2009, Flashworks Photobooth Inc was Alberta’s original digital photo booth service provider and continues to lead the way in event entertainment for the entire province.

Owned and operated by University of Alberta accredited graphic designer, Stephan Bodnar, our original booth was custom built for his sister-in-law’s wedding that fateful August. It was a hit and thus was born Flashworks Photobooth Inc which now stands at 4 Classic Booths and 2 Mirror Booths with a wide range of features and event options between them. landscape with new offerings, yet always staying true to their commitment top-notch photo quality, exemplary customer service and unsurpassed attention to detail.

We used Flashworks Photobooth for our wedding reception this past Saturday and I cannot say enough good things about working with this company! They were punctual and professional throughout the evening and Stephan did a wonderful job on the design of the photos. We received a USB with all the photos taken by the end of the night which was hilarious to look at the next day. I have received endless compliments about how fun the photobooth was!

Our “Classic” Booth Original

Memorable fun. That’s the name of the game when you’re hiring us for your special event. If your guests don’t enjoy themselves and don’t receive a great looking keepsake with beautiful photos, your booth isn’t getting the job done. All the bells and whistles won’t compensate for a blurry or dark photo. That’s why our booths only feature flash photography and digital SLR cameras (no iPad booths here!). That being said, our four distinctive Classic Booths are pretty good looking in their own right and our packages are fully featured. Each booth comes with:

• free delivery, setup and removal of your booth (private set-up or open concept),
• an on-site host to direct your guests and maintain an optimized booth
• unlimited 4×6 prints,
• customized graphics for your prints designed to match your invitations or branding,
• a choice of 5 different layout styles,
• an on-line gallery (password protected if desired) of high resolution photos
• all of your high resolution layouts and photos on high quality USB flashdrive,
• and, a wide assortment of dress-up props (custom-made props available at extra charge).

We also give you flexible options for your booth set-up style. Wanting a “retro” feel and more intimate photos in a “kissing booth”? Our Classic Booths come equipped with a rigid structure making it an actual, traditional “booth” with bench and privacy curtains for more intimate photos for up to 4 guests. Or “drop the top” and open it up with a modern open-concept presentation so that larger groups can pose in front of a curtain or pillow case backdrop. No matter the set up style, each booth offers a conventional experience of 3 or 4 photos with visual cues, live preview, photo, and review.

Mirror Booths

Why drive a Malibu if you can drive a Maserati? St. Albert’s top-of-the-line photo booth is undoubtedly our Mirror Booth. The photos are still beautiful but now, they’re just one part of the entertainment experience. Our Mirror Booths feature an interactive, tactile experience with fun animations, short games, and a signature features that lets guests pick the colour of their lines, undo mistakes, and even add emojis and virtual props.

Video Green-screen Background: We can satisfy your inner weatherman; that unfulfilled desire to motion and point towards elements that aren’t really there and than only the humble home-audience can see. This is the ultimate green-screen immersive experience. Smart placement technology lets your guest select their video background and automatically places them in the correct position in relation to that background. Subjects can be scaled, rotated, and stretched as they interact with things going on in their moving background. Music, and intro and outro (ie: sponsors) videos can be added, too.
