SAMU Fall Fest (South Campus)

Flashworks Photobooth always has a great time when we’re at the South Grant MacEwan campus. This year’s Students’ Association of MacEwan University (SAMU) was no exception with great music, free food, and fun!

As students walked through the south campus cafeteria it was immediately obvious with the music playing that something fun was going on. The Living Daylights occupied the stage with acoustic guitar, stand-up bass, and haunting folk-style vocals and played a few sets to delight the passers-by on their way to class. They were followed by the hip hop rhythms of Mitchmatic and Mickey Maybe complete with an interlude of saxophone.

Further down the way a popcorn machine wafted the scent of freshly popped popcorn to every corner of the building, and students could line up to partake in a free lunch of pizza and salad. A few steps away volunteers were handing out white and black SAMU sunglasses, notepads and buttons, and also asked students to fill out entry forms for a 1 of 7 chance to win a $20 gift card from the MacEwan bookstore.

And as always, the Flashworks Photobooth was a hit with all the students. Our Thor mask and hammer was particularly popular and many people kept coming back for more.

Flashworks Photobooth would like to thank the SAMU and the organizers of this fun event for inviting us back to help in the merry making!
