Thanks to Norquest Industries for having us at this year’s employee family picnic held at the amphitheater area in Hawrelak Park.

Starting at 1pm and running until 6pm, the weather started off cloudy and a little windy but progressively got sunnier and calmer. The picnic was well attended and there was truly something for everyone. Upon entering the amphitheater area, turning left got guests large bags of Canadian Kettle Korn while a right turn had the best face-painter in Alberta, Lady Dolphin, creating face-painting masterpiece for the children. On stage, 100 Mile House entertained everyone as Denise, Tom, Scott and Peter played some enchanting melodies on their guitar, violin, drums, and stand-up bass complete with captivating vocals. To the right of the stage was our very own Flashworks Photobooth that was hugely popular right up until the end of the picnic. The children also really enjoyed the animals at Thistle Hill Petting Farm (780.873.3344) while 5 inflatable Jumpy Things burned off their excess energy.

Activities aside, an absolutely fantastic meal was catered by Sunterra Market. There was steak and chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, a variety of salads, and a wide assortment of tasty pies and cakes.

And finally, a great big thank-you has to go out to Anne for coordinating such a super event.

Thanks again for the opportunity to entertain your guests!
