Platinum Investments put on a fantastic Christmas party for their employees and their guests in the Platinum Ballroom of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel located in West Edmonton.

The decor of the ballroom was modern and elegant with brushed stainless steel round guest tables and cocktail tables lit in the center with diffused LEDs. Christmas trees beautified the corners of the south wall of the room and a wide, black curtain behind the stage was lit from below  with red pot lights. In the cocktail area near the bar stood a large Platinum Investments ice sculpture illuminated by light of varying colours. Each round table featured a red poinsettia surrounded by three, stylish red votive candles while the cocktail tables were accented with white, frosted votives. Two large screens cycled through images of events and from throughout the year and included a number of funnty shots from within our photobooth from the Courtyard’s grand opening celebration.

The smell of freshly popped popcorn permeated the room and guests helped themselves to this little snack before the meal began. Food stations were positioned around the room, and included bread, soup, caesar salad, roti and dessert stations.

After everyone had a chance to eat a short program commenced where the Employee of the Year, the Leader of the Year,  and those with five years of service were given awards for their labours. “Paper Plate” awards followed and recognized those with the Best smile, the Best Team Player, the Most Welcoming, the Most Fun to Work With amongst many others. Door prize draws followed and then the music kicked in as provided by Revolution Entertainment.

Courtyard’s Christmas Party was a lot of fun and everyone was very enthusiastic and really enjoyed dancing and getting their photos taken in the Flashworks Photobooth.
