Brette and Bob

Their lovely wedding was held in the beautiful Top of the Inn banquet room, on the 11th floor of the Delta Edmonton South. The room features a starlit ceiling and floor to ceiling windows, which offer a panoramic view of the city. Brette and Bob had their reception room beautifully decorated in bright shades of pink and orange. Paper lanterns were suspended from the ceiling, and the table linens were vibrant and fun. The mood created by the decorations definitely reflected the personality of the bride and groom.

As guests entered the reception venue, they were encouraged to ink their fingers and press them onto a picture of a tree, creating finger-print leaves. What a great idea for a guest book! The program was really fun and unique, featuring not only a picture slide show, but a movie/interview of the couple. Some friends of the couple wrote and acted-out a skit portraying the couple’s first date, including costumes! Laughs were had by all. The icing on the cake was when the groom Bob sang “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” for his bride, just before their first dance.

After the program, guests were encouraged to take their pictures at the photobooth, grab a cupcake, and sample some of the delectable sweets at the candy bar. The candy bar consisted of large glass vases with a silver scoop inside and were filled with a wide assortment of candies including dino-sours, Tootsie Rolls, green frogs, and M&Ms, to name a few. Musical entertainment was provided by the Jesse Peters Trio, a great band with great vocals who played a variety of tunes that kept the guests dancing all night.

Congrats Brette and Bob, and thanks for including us in your special day!
