Aja and Cam

Aja and Cam had a fantastic wedding celebration just west of Stony Plain and we were invited!

As guests arrived at Blueberry Community Hall, they were asked to write write a few words of wisdom on a card at the reception table and to hang it on the “tree of wisdom” illuminated with white lights. The hall itself was beautifully decorated with black and white damask patterns, silk fabrics, and candles. Adding a splash of colour, a touch of green could be seen at various focal points around the room, especially within the centerpieces.

The speeches were filled with humorous childhood stories, contributing to the intimate atmosphere as guests could relate to and understand the inside stories told by the bridal party and the parents of the bride and groom. Cam’s speech, where he wholeheartedly thanked Aja for marrying him, was particularly touching.

The especially considerate bride and groom were very mindful of their guests; flip flops were offered for the ladies who had no alternatives for their high heels, and as a wedding favor, delicious cupcakes were given in thanks for the support and guidance they received throughout the years. Aja and Cam also had a fun alternative to the standard kissing game where the bridal party was to answer questions about the bride and groom, and if they were correct, the bride and groom were to provide the audience with a kiss.

Between the DJ and our Flashworks Photobooth, even at midnight, numerous guests could still be seen keeping the celebration alive by dancing with photobooth props and by taking group photos within the photobooth.  Both activities evoked a lot of laughter and fun contributing to the memorable atmosphere.

We would like to congratulate both Aja and Cam and we wish you happiness and blessings for the future. We would also like to thank the guests for making this night memorable for all in attendance.
